I am a fully qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer. I qualified in January 2018. I also have a Sports Massage Qualification allowing me to better understand the body but also to aid with any niggles or injuries my clients may need attention on. I have worked alongside Chiropractors and Podiatrists over the years, so I have a lot of experience in understanding where people's restrictions are and how to improve them.
Prior to becoming a PT I competed on the Ladies European Tour as a Professional Golfer for 6 years. A large part of my quest to become the best meant spending every other day in the gym. Training for power, strength, core stability, mobility and cardio to enable me to compete week after week but also for injury prevention. Unfortunately I developed an unusual muscle spasm in my forearm which forced me to retire from the career I worked so hard for. Despite this I still continued to train hard in the gym as I found it had a big positive impact on my mental health as well as improving my strength physically.
I have now turned my attention to helping others of all ages in their training goals and I still continue to enjoy my golf at Minchinhampton.
I love all things sport. As well as golf and the gym, I enjoy tennis, hockey, skiing, running and walking. I also have a passion for dogs, fast cars, food and travelling. In my spare time, I like cooking, baking and crafting.
